Studio Andreas Lechner: “Early Baroque Manor House near Stift Rein,” in NEW YOSTAR – New Young Styrian Architecture, special issue of architektur.aktuell, ed. Claudia Gerhäusser, Petra Kickenweitz, Žiga Kreševič and Armin Stocker, Architektur Aktuell GmbH, 2026. 
English-language curated special issue on contemporary architecture from Styria and Slovenian Štajerska, published with a print run of 8,500 copies and presented in the framework of the Austrian Cultural Forum New York. The contribution presents the refurbishment of an early Baroque villa near Stift Rein as an adaptive-reuse project in which historical fabric, technical renewal and a new timber addition are articulated as a typological interface.

Learning from Steinhaus
Exhibition about / in Günther Domenig’s Steinhaus  

“Was Gebäude lehren: Das Steinhaus” is shown in Günther Domenig’s Steinhaus in Steindorf at Lake Ossiach in Carinthia and features works from two TU Graz seminars that retrace the many design iterations of the Steinhaus. This design research through drawings and models is publicly displayed from June to August 2024.

Guest-curated three-week online editorial series for OfHouses, 27 October–16 November 2014. Invited by Daniel Tudor Munteanu, Andreas Lechner prepared a personal selection of “old forgotten houses” for the not-for-profit architecture archive. The curated sequence brought together domestic works by Oswald Mathias Ungers, Vittoriano Viganò, Giorgio Grassi, Szyszkowitz & Kowalski, Hermann Czech, Livio Vacchini, and John Pawson & Claudio Silvestrin, with selected short commentaries foregrounding questions of typology, architectural memory, authorship, domestic form and the critical afterlife of residential architecture.
