Master studio  2018/19
︎︎︎Valentin Moser + Bernhard Ogrisek design a residential, sports, and recreational park in the Wetzelsdorf district on the outskirts of Graz. The park of “Schloss Eggenberg” and the Austrian Sculpture Park were  studied as examples of sophisticated landscape design. The site was investigated through "typological design" that involved intersecting, scaling, transforming, and layering Durand’ian prototype designs for public buildings with sports and swimming facilities, followed by superimposing urban-dense residential uses on and around the sports facilities. These uses blend in the designs to form trompe-l'œil-like compositions of historical and contemporary forms and elements, incorporating standardized sports facilities, sculptural open spaces, recreational offerings, and varied interconnections and separations of indoor and outdoor spaces …
