Palimpsest
Master studio with TEd’A arquitectes (Jaume Mayol & Irene Piferer), 2019
︎︎︎ Bernhard Ogrisek designs residential structures through conversion and infill of military barracks buildings. The master studio lead by Jaume Mayol and Irene Pérez from the Mallorcan firm TEd’A arquitectes together with Andreas Lechner focused on the decommissioned Son Busquets barracks site in Palma de Mallorca, where existing buildings were reimagined in 15 student designs, transforming the area into a sustainable urban neighborhood with over 800 housing units.
