Across two books and a third in development, Andreas Lechner explores typology as a form of architectural knowledge and an instrument for transforming buildings and territories. His essays and articles extend this inquiry through contributions to Architecture and Culture, The Journal of Architecture, Log, San Rocco, Stoà, Drawing Matter, GAM, Khōrein, Umbau and others. His editorial work includes Peripheries–Peripherocene, a special issue of The Journal of Architecture co-edited with Cameron McEwan, alongside his work as co-editor and book review editor of GAM – Graz Architecture Magazine.
